Chaplain Corps (AC3)

American Community Chaplain (AC3)
North Carolina

Mission: To provide humanitarian and Spiritual (health) care across the continuum of care. To aid and assist anyone, anywhere that has been affected by a tragedy, crisis, natural disaster, or acts of terrorism, including active shooter events, loss of life (family, friend, loved one), illness in health, and any other tragedy that life brings.   We are especially proud to provide services to our Youth, military members, Veterans, First Responders, and their families as well.

Chaplains primarily provide spiritual care and are in many aspects of our community: hospitals, military/Gov’t, hospice, universities/schools, police, fire, rescue, etc...

American Community Chaplain Corps (AC3)
Three (3) Phases of care across the continuum:

  • Preventive (Before a critical event) Spiritual Care

  • Interventive (During a critical event) Spiritual Care

  • Postvention (After a critical event) Spiritual Care

Methodology of care is given to help people find meaning and purpose and to help them make moral decisions and act ethically while improving their morale. Care doesn’t stop once a person is well in one area of their life, it continues to see them improve holistically, across the continuum of care.

*This methodology is based on the research and practical work done by, Dr. K. Lewellyn McGhee.

Lt. Col. James H. Harvey III was a pilot with the 332nd Fighter Group, known as the Tuskegee Airmen. He later flew on the team that won the Air Force’s 1949 Gunnery Meet, which history remembers as the first ‘Top Gun’ style weapons competition. Harvey was also the first African American jet fighter pilot to fly in combat, flying in the Korean War. Listen to his remarkable story and share it with friends and family.

'Mission Accomplished' – Tuskegee Airmen recognized for 1949 Top Gun victory.

“We're finally being recognized for something we accomplished 73 years ago,” said retired Lt. Col. James Harvey III, former fighter pilot with the 332nd Fighter Group, best known as the Tuskegee Airmen.
