Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

“Abide in the ship”

Thought: 

“The storms of life DO NOT cancel the promises of God”! 

Paul was given a word from God by an Angel before the storm arrived.  

The storm did not change what God had already said!

Remember:

The angel told Paul:

“All the lives that are with you will be saved.”

Then the storm came.

But when the storm came, Paul remembered what God had said.

Don’t let the storm make you forget what God said to you concerning your life.

ABIDE IN THE SHIP!

The physical ship was eventually lost…

BUT THE PEOPLE WERE SAVED!

The ship was only the vessel God used to carry them through the storm.

Jesus is the real ship!

CONCLUSION:

There is an old spiritual song that says:

“There’s a storm out on the ocean, and it’s moving this way. If your soul’s not anchored in Jesus, it will surely drift away.”
