What’s your story?

Rev 1: 10 -11(KJV)

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, what thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

John was on an Island called Patmos-. It was there that he was caught up into heaven and saw visions from God, and was directed to write what he saw and then tell the seven churches “The Story” (God’s story) about them…

Each letter is different and speaks to each church of their condition and His warning and hope for all believers.

WHAT’S YOUR STORY?

The point here is we all have a story, and it should include Jesus’ story. We cannot have a story without Him, because His story is all about us.

When we include His story into ours, it makes living life a little easier.

“HIS” story- OR -HISTORY- is what God is calling our attention to in John’s writing’s by saying…”He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches”.(Revelation 3:22) In other words, listen up, And hear what I’m saying.

What’s your Church story?

John is writing as directed by God to the CHURCH (es)

EXAMPLE: The Laodicea church was complacent and rich… They felt self-satisfied and content with the pleasures of the world, such as money, security, and material possessions.

It is harmful to live without Christ’s presence among us because we miss God’s offer of true peace and His rich blessings in our lives.

This was the story of the Laodicea Church.

What’s your story?

Its pass time for “THE CHURCH” (like the 7 churches), to pass on “History” and tell the story He has instructed us to tell to ALL generations of people…

How do we tell “History”?

Read- His- Story

Know- His Story

Tell- His Story

Live- His Story

By telling and living the story, I have THE “Blessed Assurance” that Jesus is mine.

So, this is my story, this is my song, praising my Saviour all the day long!

What’s your story? We ALL have a story, does it include His story..?

Make His story, the story of your life!
